IGNITE® Delivers the First of its Kind CSR Training
The Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence

Austin, TX, USA, November 09, 2021 – IGNITE® Veterinary Solutions, LLC today announces the formal release of its Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence (VRCE) program. VRCE is designed for students who are well established CSRs or pet people who want to enter the veterinary industry with a knowledgeable front desk education.

VRCE is the brainchild of Jill Clark, DVM, Founder and CEO of IGNITE®. Dr. Clark along with Kristi Fisher, CVT and other industry experts, worked over 2 years and more than 2,000 hours to create and deliver the VRCE 2-semester program.

VRCE’s 40 hours of study includes 32 courses completed within 2 semesters. Each student is required to complete a 50-page workbook per semester that is designed to customize the learning to the student’s home hospital. Observation checklists require students to demonstrate their new skills for their supervisor/proctor after each learning session. A final proctored examination is provided for every student who has met the requirements.

Dr. Clark states. “I really think VRCE is going to elevate the role of the CSR in the veterinary practice. We focus on operational topics that will enhance the front desk team’s focus on client experience, revenue capture, and communication. CSRs have been the orphans of education in my experience, and it’s time a legitimate learning and career path was created for them."

IGNITE® fully understands that emergency and specialty veterinary hospitals have their particular training needs. This is why IGNITE® is currently developing a certificate program specifically designed for ER and Specialty veterinary receptionists which will be ready in early 2022.
